Now thats just demoralising! I would stop at listing out 5 items in one area at a time! That probably comes from doing 2 week sprints in agile software development for the past 10 years. Your list is certainly a waterfall project where every thing has to be documented upfront ;-). Currently considering 9,10,11 though in the background.

I know I shouldn't ask this question but I'm going to for the hell of it.
Given your current rate of progress and your 'to do list' would you care to hazard an estimate in which year you will complete the build. Perhaps that should be which decade!

Well not quite finished; TIG welding is an art! and after a break it was a challenge, so I left it for another day. But have at least made a pair of brackets. Put some bolting access holes and a cable hole. And was about to add two rivnuts to each for connecting to the side pods.

Tail lights continued and Reverse light: Continued with the wiring and fitting. Included installing two Rivnuts on each light. drilling 3 holes in the side pod rear quarter and fitting. a view from the rear: Then found some old Tail lights from a Holden Utility.. and cut off the reverse light and used that. Cost = zero$ Cardboard number plate so I could make sure I cleared it before I made a hole. Reverse light now works. Also connected all of the wires BUT have not soldered or used connectors for the headlights. 33. Body - Headlight wiring - Done. 41. Make bracket and Fit reverse light and wiring - done 67. Brakes - Finish handbrake connection to bracket - Done Also went for a club breakfast and organised this task: 132. Suspension - Make bush inserts for Butch’s mould on Greg’s lathe - done 10. Body - Decide on and purchase reverse light - done

Have you tried those LED indicators yet? Have you fitted load resistors so the timing is correct?

I used the old Focus indicator lights wired in parallel and they work without any issues... I still can not get around the idea of using energy efficient LEDs and then adding a ballast block , or the old globe...!

23. Body - Front and rear Number plate fitment brackets and rivnuts Decided not to use rivnuts on rear numberplate as I can easily access bolts and washers.. Number plate is old one off a trailer just for convenience... Made some brackets for the front number plate. It can be angled towards the grille and can be lowered or raised if required. p.s. The front plate is one I found on the road when I was on a bike ride... planning to hand it in to police soon... 35. Body - Heat shield for battery Because the battery is directly behind the radiator, I decided that a heat shield would be smart. I used the bolts that I have installed for the battery holder bracket and some 3mm Aluminium as a double layered construction with an air gap. Bracket on ground just for photo... Rubber patch is adjacent to positive terminal just for additional protection to a dead short occurring. Here is a photo in situ. 64. Brakes - Clean up all disc calipers Started cleaning callipers 1 done of the four... still deciding whether or not I paint them! 132. Suspension - Make bush inserts for Butch’s mould on Greg’s lathe - done President of the Western Australian Sports Car Builders' Club has a lathe and did some nice work to complete my bush mould bits. Now just have to get some polymer and release agent and we are bush making. I had better source the 19mm shaft material ready for installing. Tomorrow: rain all day , so finish the other 3 brake callipers. Pick up the mould (84km trip), pick up a radiator from another Sports Car Clubbie to see if it fits. 37. Body - Horn relocation and bracket , See about fitting heater. If radiator fits then do brackets and measure for buying radiator pipe. see how I go.

43. Body - Passenger seat belt stalk construction - done Constructed the seat belt stalk for the passenger side. Now waiting for paint to dry so I can make and fit the slider adjuster to the drivers side and then the passenger side. Passenger side doesn't really need to slide BUT it is a lot easier to put seats in if if does. 42. Body - Paint seat belt runners - done. 64. Brakes - Clean up all 4 disc callipers - done. 37. Body - Horn relocation and bracket. Horn and bracket re-located - done. However, I can't actually get it to work but... it did before so may be an earth issue or a fuse... Photos coming after a few more hours this afternoon. Weather as discussed is dreadful Max 18C Rain. Possible storm.Possible rainfall: 25 to 35 mm. Cloudy. Very high (near 100%) chance of rain. The chance of a thunderstorm during this afternoon and evening. Gusty winds and possible heavy falls. Winds northeasterly 35 to 50 km/h decreasing to 30 to 40 km/h in the middle of the day then turning northwesterly 20 to 30 km/h during the afternoon and evening - nice! Didn't go for a drive.. Decided to get seats all finished. The slide adjuster mechanism was originally under the seats but I knew that wouldn't work from day one so I flipped the seat runners and made the mechanism on the outside. Here is one completed. all others are copies. Big hole in the front is a finger grip. Second hole is for allen key access to front bolt. So I think seats are done. Seat belts mounted, runners completed, stalk mechanism done, floor brackets all ok. I also made both sides adjustable; it did take almost 5 hours to make these green brackets and to get the seats to move.

Good day perthwa
Front number plate - Appears low to ground. Will it clear speed humps which I assume you have in your 'neck of the woods'?
Disc calipers - The caliper you have cleaned looks good but if you don't protect them with suitable clear or coloured paint they will degrade which would be a shame.

Not sure about number plate clearance... I am inclined to protect callipers just need motivation, maybe a quick spray of clear coat may be the way to go.... slack I know... Sitting here making decision on Front Turn indicators... Have a set for my locost Clubby but need to be bent and modified to suit and then eventually buy a replacement for clubby...
Today is a lousy weather day and not that pleasant in the shed... So maybe just buy some off the internet... If my local stores had some motorcycle ones in stock that would have been easier decision. First world problems...
At least I did some wiring and stuff for the headlights. Actually passed the cables thought the headlights and used an electrical block to join them. Rinse and repeat for the rears... Must have blown a fews as the emergency lights are all that will turn on with key... I saw a 20A fuse broken but not sure if I did it recently or otherwise... I only bought 7.5 A yesterday... Get some 20 A then back to problem solving.
