Hi all, does anybody know if I can transfer my private plates from my donor onto my exocet without having to pay to put the plates into retention?

If you don't "scrap" the donor till after the Exocet is registered you should be ok.

This might be okay in the UK but is not possible in US/Massachusetts. Plus, in MA you would need to maintain insurance to keep the plates. I don't know if the rules are different in other US states.
