Decided it's time to let the Exocet go. It was one of the last UK models sold by Exomotive. Engine is a 2002 with 120k. This is a fairly stock build. It is a complete vehicle but still has many tidying up projects that could be done. Ohio titled. $12,000.
Brake pads, rotors, suspension, water pump, plugs, timing belt, clutch all replaced at time of build. Steering de-powered. Raceland suspension, FM sway bar. Everything else is pretty well stock.
Only two issues I'm aware of:
-On first start, sometimes it takes several turns of the key for it to attempt to turn over. I understand this can be caused by a corroded contact, but I haven't tracked it down.
-There is a very small oil leak. On the order of a few tablespoons since it was built.
There are things to do to complete out the car, but it is a fully running, titled, drivable vehicle. Some items that could be worked on include:
-Transmission tunnel needed cutout to make room for pedal and foot. Should be prettied up in some way.
-Still has all original wiring. Could have much removed and generally cleaned up. Also a firewall piece still to be fitted.
-Some items are zip tied in place and need hard mounts.
