Hello,
I am considering to galvanize the frame of the Tr1ke in stead of powder coating.
What to consider? Suggestions?
Greetings from the Netherlands, Edwin

Today visited a company specialized in powder coat and galvanization techniques. Because the frame is hollow, holes have to be drilled so galvanize fluids can wash in and out and hollow spaces must be interconnected. The frame is to big. Maximum dimension of the galvanize bath is 60 cm wide.
So a nice powder coat it will be.

Today's powdercoatings come in a lot of colours and also fancy metallic ones by the way... Just make sure everything is ready before you bring it to the powdercoater. You don't want to weld anything to your new coated frame

Galvanizing is also adding weight to the frame. Because of the possibility I need to weld to the frame, I am considering painting the frame by hand with Hammerite.
