First outing for the season in my Rocket ST170

The car went like a dream, I just wish I could have beaten the sub 40 seconds barrier, my best time of the day was 40.23.

I wasn't far away from you at the weekend, just driving from Ferndown to Salisbury, Wimborne and back home. Are you local?

I'm Goodwood based but a BARC member and I want to compete in as many events as possible this summer. The Gurston Hillclimb is an excellent venue and super friendly. Well worth a visit, the first meetings are on the 22 and 23rd of April - I'll be there on the 23rd only. I'm racing at Goodwood on the 22nd.

It was really good to meet up with Pete and Jake today and the car came home unscathed! Thanks guys for supporting the only MEV in the field.

It wound be nice if there were more MEVs racing and I would recommend it as a great way to push your car to it's limits.

Really enjoyed meeting Richard, Jake and his mrs today. Richard, although you didn't break the 40 second barrier today it was a really good time when you consider the budget of the competition that put in similar times. Id love to have a go myself

Brings back ancient memories of watching races at Harewood Hill Climb just outside of Leeds. Not something I'd thought of doing before I read this!
