Seen loads of people on here having issues with side repeaters. Just been reading through the IVA manual and it seems side repeaters are optional for vehicles less than 6 metres. As my Exocet only measures 4 metres do I need to put them on?

I think you're confusing compulsory side repeaters for the indicators with optional (for vehicle less then 6m) side marker lamps.

Where is the statement about side repeaters in the manual? Can only see side markers

I think section 23 table 1 says they're mandatory.

Found it, thanks guys! Where is says 5 to 60° outboard is that from the vehicle centre or from the repeater itself?

From the repeater but relative to the vehicle centre line.
