Has anyone fitted a larger than OEM throttle body to the intake of a Moss MP62 supercharger please? Thanks.

email.. Tom@FastForwardSuperchargers.com Tell him what you are looking for he is in USA.. See if he will ship to UK.. Ask him which throttle body to use 94>96 Mustang GT is what I used. I had the adapter ported and polished for better flow.. Got it all from BRP when they were in business.. Tom's site is www.fastforwardsuperchargers.com then click on miata part..

Many thanks. When you installed your Mustang throttle body was it to a Moss MP62 or a BRP MP62? Did you have to move the supercharger forward to make room for the throttle body, and if so how did you then realign the charger pulley with the crank pulley? Very many thanks for any info.

It (BTB)was on a BRP unit.. no moving forward for the BTB kit.. FYI with the BRP 6 rib drive belt you had to move SC forward.. New brackets were part of the kit as was crank pulley that sat on front edge of the OEM crank pulley.. NOW.. If you want to add a 6 rib belt see Track Dog Racing (USA) see trackdogracing.com/ check out SC section and engine management too.. You can Google Track Dog Racing for more info.. Have you checked out or joined (free) Miata.net forum in USA.. Go to the section "NA/NB Power Mods" then supercharged.. Use the search tab for questions or post a thread with questions..

Thanks....I'm already on Miata.net as Grandad. My half baked plan is to buy 6 rib charger and overlay crank pulleys (and belt tensioner) from FFS or TDR but there doesn't seem to be much point doing this unless I fit a larger throttle body on the charger. The Skunk2 64mm throttle body from Goodwin looks interesting but they're telling me that it's incompatible with the Moss MP62. I'm struggling to understand this because the Skunk TB fits the OEM manifold, and the charger accepts the OEM TB.
