Hey all,
Making some decent progress now but I've hit a bit of a wall. I've spent a good while looking around the forums regarding the egr delete, charcoal canister and the solenoids it connects too.
My plan is to delete it all and just connect the pipes on the inlet.
1. Has anyone done this and were you ok with the emissions tests and Iva? 2. Assuming this is ok, could somebody tell me which pipe needs to connect to where? (3 year build has meant my labelling has not faired well)
There may be a thread somewhere but I couldn't find it. I'd be eternally grateful for any help 😀
Edit** realised I hadn't mentioned the donor is a 1999 nb 1.8! 🙄

This is for a '94 but may be useful: www.mellens.net/mazda/Mazda-Miata-1994/vacuum_diagrams.pdfEVAP and EGR operation are monitored by the ECU, if you remove them it may set some fault codes, deleting the EVAP system probably won't affect performance but will result in releasing raw hydrocarbon fumes into the atmosphere and possibly making your garage smell of petrol. The EGR system is integrated into the engine management and may be used to control ignition knock (pinging). My feeling is if you are keeping the engine stock leave the stock equipment in place - Mazda engineers spent a lot of time and money developing the car.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I'll look at it again when I put a turbo on.
