rev counter

Hi I wonder if anyone can help or has had the same problem, My rev counter bounces all over the place when the cooling fan cuts in and then settles back to normal when fan cuts out does not seem to effect engine its just the needle bouncing all over the place, Ithink its an earth problem but can`t seem to find it has anyone got any suggestions ?

I found a similar problem in my Rocket except my rev counter was actually correct and the engine itself was all over the place rev wise, mainly when idling though.

Better earth solved the problem.

Conclusion - you can't have too many or too good an earth.
