Hi All Im after more power in my Exocet faster acceleration it is currently a 1.6 but still want it to be a great road car don't want silly power were it is un drive able. So shall I go supercharger or Turbo route. I see the turbo kits are available from the likes of G19. Were as Supercharger is a make to fit option with the Eatton m45 mini supercharger. Thanks Dave

With correct installation neither a turbo nor a supercharger should render your car undriveable.....up to, say, 240bhp / 200lb.ft....which is probably a sensible ceiling for a stock engine.

My 1.8 has 237 atw and it's not undriveable....it does NEED sticky tyres (r888 etc) and a lsd though

My 1.6 is 210 at the wheels and i agree with ikarl a lsd is a very good option. I have a Fuji Torsen diff and it makes it so much more fun.
