So, I have a pile of bits... I have cut ready for the Banana on the top control arm and I have trimmed the edge of the subframe where it can also catch... (Not my image) Anything else I should trim or cut before getting the powder coat done?

All I can think of is the front sub frame lips as well. Definitely cut them before powder coat if you can, it gives you more options for filing and tidying them up.
If you have a mk2 donor you need to modify the U shaped rear subframe brace, so this would be better done before powder coating.
Cheers

Ahh!
What needs changing on the U brace?

If you look in my build thread there's a good explanation as it caught me out.
I just saw that you bought an Exocet so I assume it isn't the very latest chassis so you might be ok. Check the photos on my build thread to see the tab and where the u bracket goes

Cheers. I'm presuming it needs cutting to this...

You have to cut the first section off both arms.

Yup and then just drill a hole in each tab on your chassis to bolt it to

Cool, that was a great save, I'd be gutted to hack up the Powdercoat!

Okay, so all off for blasting/antirust dip/coating been quoted £150-200 so not too bad.

Are you running fenders? Unless they've been updated, you have to drill the hubs for the mounts.
