I had a similar issue, mine turned out to be a squashed fuel line. Found the crush point and problem solved. The issue with filling could be down to fuel tank filler pipe having a low point and acting like a u bend, trapping a small amount of fuel in the filler pipe when the covers on. Looks good get er done! Summers coming

Yeah, thought it might be trapping fuel, looking back at pics I wonder if the vnt pipe might join too low down in the run. And yeah 'need' to be finished for this summer

Your vent tube needs to be up top by filler. Won't fill if vent tube and fill tube is full of gas.. Sounds like you have a pinched hose/line.

Your build's looking great - simple palette of colours and un-fussy - like it.
Straying off topic but trying to help - are you going to IVA it - the angles of view of the front indicators and the side repeaters look like they could be borderline unless you've already checked all that out.

Darn it, took me ages to source pipework and adapters for all the diameter changes. Should be a simple fix with what I have now though. I'll try and get it up on ramps and look underneath to see if anything is kinked when the rear tub goes on

Thanks, yeah I went for simple, bold red and black, yeah it will be going for IVA, Once it is all up and running I am going to go over a bunch of things like that so will definitely check the indicators, thanks

Before you go under car put boot on as it may be pushing down on a hose and kinking further down the hose not were touching.

Well after all that it looks like it might be a failed fuel pump!

I just installed a Walbro 340, got it from flea bay for £68 delivered, genuine pump easy to fit, did have to use the original strainer though, and coupled with a fresh filter has made a big difference.

damn it, it is happening again! I have just had it fail to start after running fine for a while, checked back and my replacement fuel pump is dead. Do I have bad luck or is some bad wiring killing my fuel pumps??

Have you checked the fuel pump ground wire run and spot were it it grounded.. It the wiring loose fitted to the connector being pulled out a little when harness moved.
