Hello people, new member here. I have made a cast iron turbo manifold and wondering if anyone is interested in seeing if it fits in exo or something else the runs a mx5 engine. If it fits and you would want to buy it I would do a good discount, however you need to be within a reasonable distance from London, 2-4 hours drive, I would also bring a td04l turbo and downpipe The manifolds are priced @ £235 and downpipe elbow is £100, they are slightly more on ebay if you want to go down route I have made these from high quality alloy, probably better than what car manufacturers offer You can call/whatsapp/sms on 07940043243 or facebook kraken manifolds Thanks

Looks good! If my exo wasn't already turbo'd I'd have had one off you

Yes, cast iron, same alloy as the manifold, v band end can be 2.25" or 2.5"further down. Believe 2.25" is enough I am not necessarily looking for a sale, if anyone is curious about going turbo and seeing how the turbo sits I'm happy to pop around, I will bring manifold turbo and downpipe elbow Mike

Hi mike, Looks good 👍
Is it only a td04 turbo fitment that you do or do you make manifolds that fit other turbos?
Thanks Bob

I am seriously interested in this as an option for turbocharger fitment in my Exocet.

Hi mike, Looks good 👍 Is it only a td04 turbo fitment that you do or do you make manifolds that fit other turbos? Thanks Bob, there's actually many MHI ( mitsubishi) TD04's of different size and applications, each one with its own type of flange. Many manufacturers use some form of a td04 turbo, this manifold fits only the turbo from the Subaru, the front entry td04l 13t to be exact. At present only this turbo fits the manifold, however I am doing the 1.6 and that may get some sort of multi flange, nothing set in stone yet. The td04l 13t can easily blow your engine, so the charger is up to the job, dont really need bigger or better unless you spend serious money on supporting mods

Not sure if this will help....my car using a td04-13t (+suporting mods &a ecu) produces 237hp at the wheels, which is about 370/tonne
On a v-box I recorded a 3.6s to 60..and at my local track, Knockhill, very little can keep up.
Turns a fast car into an epic car!

It’s been a bit since this thread got any love. I’m going to fix that. First, my Exocet is quite happily boosted using a TD04 turbo hanging off of a Kraken manifold. My experience has been fantastic and my expectations wildly exceeded. Mike is a great guy to work with and stands behind his products 100%. He’s been there any time I’ve had a question or needed some help on my build. You can dig into the tail end of my build for more detail about my setup. I had some issues but none of them were related to the hardware I’d purchased from Kraken. The manifold is sting, fits properly, looks great and just works, even when the car is flogged hard. If you’re looking to roll your own turbo kit, Kraken is a great choice to build from!
