Hi everyone, I have just taken delivery of my Rocket, 1.8 is going in and I have not scratched the surface yet. I am in South Shields not far from Newcastle. I have no massive plans but I would like to do a good job, I am still at the what have I done there is so much work to do stage. As I always say even the longest journey begins with a single step. Its going to be a long one!

Hi Ian
Glad the delivery went to plan and Criag said you were excited and happy with the contents of the kit, hope the build goes to plan and look forward to a few pics a long the way. We are having a fab show at the MPH Top Gear Live in London but look forward to meeting you again soon. My wife is from Whitley Bay and we go up often to see her mum and friends so might try and pop in on you one visit, cheers Leighton.

Thanks Leighton, for getting the car to me I felt guilty that you were getting ready for the show when Craig told me what you still had to do. I am plodding along and just getting and hour here and there on the car all well. Anytime you are passing you are more than welcome to pop on in.
Andrew do you work with Jason R? He has mentioned you are near if it is not you there is another Sonic in the local area. How is your build going? Happy building Ian

Hey Andrew yes it would be good to meet up some time, I would not mind seeing a sonic in the making and if you are ever near sunny south shields you can call in and see how a rocket should not be made. Cheers Ian

Hi John, what time do they meet and are strangers welcome?
I have asked for permission off the boss and she has almost granted it with that look only a loving wife can give. So all being well I should be there, unless you think I should wait a while? Cheers Ian
