Well, I just sold my Lotus Elise and am looking for a new toy. I would prefer a partial build, but would consider one already completed. I live in the USA, so I would prefer one already on this side of the pond, but may consider shipping a partial build if necessary (complete build wouldn't make it through customs). I am looking for either a sonic 7 or rocket, but may consider exocet. Let me know what's out there.

I'm in central VA. I have had fun and learned a lot, but I would like to free up some garage space for a different project. I have an Exomotive sport, powder coated gray from factory, with the newer body work. I used a '92 donor,long nose crank. It runs, drives, turns and stops. No smoke, new cooling system, new timing belt. I have had it up to 60 mph on a long driveway, but it is not titled or registered. I have the MSO and bill of sale from the original owner who sold it to me still in the wrapper. I have most of the lighting installed, corbeau seats on sliders, Schroth DOT 4 point harnesses. Wiring is all there and mostly pruned, but definitely looks better when covered by Exomotive wire tray. Windshield is on, but glass needs to be replaced. New tie rod ends, otherwise, suspension is stock. Stock brakes, new front rotors, pads, braided soft lines. Manual steering rack. Odyssey battery and tray mounted. I have mounted nose and tail pieces, fender stays are on, but fenders not mounted. Instrument cover not cut out yet. Lower plexiglass covers not yet installed. I have a spare 1990 engine (short nose crank) and transmission, front and rear subframes and suspension, brakes, wiring, a second set of daisy wheels, and other bits that I will include. I have a spare power steering rack I have not yet depowered. I utilized the original fuel and evap lines, they are safe but they aren't pretty. I put lotus 7 style headlights on simply because they can pass DOT. I haven't cut out the "trunk" for the fuel filler because I'm not sure how I want it. I remove the stock muffler, but haven't decided what to do for the exhaust.
I frankly don't know what to ask for it, but basically the new owner would need to add an exhaust, wheel/tire package, shock/spring setup, and a nicer steering wheel, and may want to pretty up the wiring, fuel lines,etc. I'm open to reasonable offers.

Check out my build. I am going to be relocating soon to take a new job. Was planning on building and selling it after a year of fun. But could be persuaded to part ways with it knowing it would save me having to move it all. Everything is labeled well. I have put a lot of effort into making it something that will not need constant attention when it is finished. It is a roller now but I have not started wiring. Message me if you have any questions.
