Please ignore the mold on the head Has anyone used the original MK2 expansion tank and where did you fit it, im running out of room quickly and the original tank is huge! Ive seen a few other posts about getting a smaller tank from a hyundai Getz, the only problem is the MK2 tank only has one pipe that connects to the top of the rad where as the Hyundai Getz is like the MK1, it has 2 pipes one to rad and the other to atmosphere, would that cause an issue fitting a MK1 style tank on my MK2? Thanks All

Can't see that would be a problem - they both do the same job - allow expansion/contraction ebb and flow. I presume the mk2 cap must allow escape thru its lid/cap rather then an overflow pipe. There must be other tall/thin bottles out there too - perhaps CBS do one?

CBS is brilliant! I've spent a fortune with them since I found them....they're my 'turn to' company for anything car related

I used a 20oz bottle of gatorade. Has an indentation near the top of the bottle that fits a wire tie nicely, and it sits on the frame tube below.
