Fitting Ali floors

I have searched but most chassis have square tubing. 
Does anyone in here have a chassis with outer round tubes?

im looking st how to fit the floor to the outer tube and feel that the floor needs to extend past the tube to get a decent rivet fixing, but then will it fail I a if the Ali is protruding past the tube?  If I stop the floor half way in the tube there won't be another meat to attach it??

Chassis is an XS one and wondered if the newer Exocets had tubular outer frames??

Hi, Rockets are the same, you can cut the ali just shy of the tube outer edge and peen it over or use knock on trim.

Think I'll peen I over so that it doesn't leave the edge too proud.

Use a piece of 2x4 so you get a longer roll look then a bunch of peen overs every inch..
