So I've put around 1200km on my exocet in the last 2 weeks, all city miles.
I've identified a few things I really need:
1. Some sort of speaker / radio setup - anyone have a good setup they care to share? 2. Cigarette lighter / usb charging - picked up a motorcycle one that is good for outdoor use. 3. Lockable storage - thinking some kind of lock box behind the driver seat, anyone have any other ideas? 4. Cup holder - Was thinking about drilling 2 holes in the aluminum cover in center console and building it as part of that. Any ideas? 5. Some sort of mount for my phone / tablet for GPS nav. I get lost a lot. Anyone have a universal one they would recommend? I don't want to have to buy a new mount every time I switch phones. 6. Dash cam. - Have one in my truck. People drive like ass hats around here. It's only a matter of time and with a car that looks like this I would be assumed guilty by default. Anyone have a good one that is rated for outdoor use? 7. Waterproof ECU - I have a hydra installed which is not water resistant in the slightest. I've got caught in a light sprinkle a few times and its always a rush to get the car covered to protect the ECU. Any ideas on what to do to protect it?
Other daily driver questions I have are what do you run for tire pressure for street use? I've been using 22 psi. I found it some where on here but it seems a tad low.

I use mine more for track work than street driving but have thought of the issues with drinking fluids, securing small items and the ECU getting wet. I have a water bladder I used for hiking that I plan to attach to the back of the seat and run the bite valve and hose through one of the shoulder harness holes for water. If I was doing a cup holder I would look for one of the boat cup holders that swivel and tilt always keeping the cup upright and attach it to a side bar or the dash bar above the trans tunnel if you can reach it. I wear my 5 point harness and helmet so radio and reaching that far are out of the question for me.
I use a neoprene laptop case for my registration info, small flashlight, multitool and my cell phone. I put it behind the driver's seat but am looking for a Pelican style case to mount next to the wire tray and the outer side bar on the passenger side in that square section.
My ECU and ABS computer are in the wire tray but I don't have the cover on so I need to do that and seal the wiring tray some more at least from the top. I though about putting each in a 1 gallon freezer zip lock bag but I am afraid the temp changes will cause as much condensation as possible water ingress. Curious to see what others are doing.

At one point I was considering a Riot kit car which has even less room. My proposed solution was demountable motorbike hard-shell cases. You can get a secure rack that enables easy mounting and demounting of the cases and they lock on the vehicle. The Riot is very small and I was thinking of mounting them on the side of the car next to the driver/passenger as it keeps the weight in more or less the right place and doesn't interfere with the view and has the side benefit of additional crumple zone...

My build on paper has:
Yeti mount --- dedicated Exocet cup Marine weatherproof sound system 2-5 speaker setup Storage bin behind passenger seat with dry bag Plastic rain Channels I guess they are. Basically angled simple plastic over Ecu and such just in case some water gets in there
Radio can go in the tray/Ecu area and have Bluetooth connection to your phone or iPod. There is an easy solution to use connection with a marine usb switch. ALL over Amazon
Hope this starts you in a direction or just makes you laugh
