I think that was steadfast.
I'm plastidipped parts of a vehicle before which were metal (my 68 C10) but I think it'd be no different on fiberglass. Just make sure the surface is clean. You don't need to sand it or anything for adhesion.

I am in this process right now, I want dip all of my bodywork. I decided to pick up a can and see if it sprayed ok, it was very streaky. I decided to use the dipyourcar.com kit that includes the dip gun. I have seen this kit in action, and it lays down a very nice even coat. It may cost more, but it looks much better and professional.
