But in true top gear fashion one car didn't make it to the start of the party only a hour from departing mevster HQ i got the call I did not want to hear 
yes the mevster had a heart attack on the M6 she had been showing signs over the last week or so that all was not well but dave had too much to lose having already booked tunnel and rac cover and not wanting to let bob and the gang down we put operation transplant into effect 
dave found a engine locally and I re arranged tunnel time to the following day so at 9pm on the Saturday the transplant was complete with our so called plug and play engine with fresh oil and water The car fired back to life last time I saw the car was 11pm Saturday night when dave took it home ready for sunday 8am which was his tunnel crossing time 700 miles away and a good few hours later bob sent this pic 
dave and the mevster had rejoined the Europe trip crew

I am so proud of these guys, wish I was there, they are having fun, a wonderful memorable experience, using the cars to the full and no doubt creating unprecedented levels of camaraderie. Absolutely brilliant.
