Those mods look great. Extra expense on a build but very 'pro' look. Are there plans afoot?

Those mods look great. Extra expense on a build but very 'pro' look. Are there plans afoot? John, I too was impressed as it's always good to see someone with the technical skills, resources and abilities to take things to a new level, putting there own mark and interpretation on. In chatting with the individuals in question I found out that they are both involved in the design/development and implication of tooling in the automotive industry in the UK. They shared/showed me many a photo of the tooling that went into the creation of the sub frames and suspension, additional cost yes, weather or not they wish to sell - who knows. Is there any advantage in or is it better? I just look forward to seeing them at Curborough , enjoying the day and in the evening 'chewing the fat' over a cold beer. nigel

Had the pleasure of having a curry in their vw fully loaded camper van (cheers lads). They are going to sell the subframe and wishbones. Top guys. Won't mention the price but it ain't cheap probs worth it tho.

The thing is, if the mounting points are the same as the stock mx5, they'll probably make a killing selling them to the mx5 owners, who would seriously lap items like this up......could potentially seriously reduce the price

I believe, certainly the upper rear, wishbones use different mounts to OEM, so it may need to be a complete end.

The wishbones are not mx5 compatible unless subframe is changed too.

I saw these at Stoneleigh also. Does anyone have contact details for these guys? I am after one of those floor pans if they can get them made. It will save me a boat load of time fabricating something out of tubing!

Thanks for the kind remarks. White one belongs to m5myk. Orange one belongs to kevlar71. We are both forum members but mostly just viewers due to work and government secrecy. Second bits not true, just work. We'll catch up in a few weeks at curborough.
