A bit like daytime running lights the accident reduction stats are significant.

They are optional, meaning not required. If you have viewed any previous threads of completed cars you may notice most don't have one fitted. You can easily extend extra wires for a 3rd brake light if you wish to fit it later, that's what I did - now to find a light that I like that won't cost the earth for something so basic or simple

Oh just to add, don't get lulled into buying the "magic" box for operating the fog light - its a misprint meant for front fog lights, just wire it to come on only when headlights are on and you'll be fine. Check the measurements regarding positions for all lights, they'll measure from the widest point which are the cycle wings.

One idea I had was to weld a plate to the centre 'valley' of the M roll bar and in corporate a high level light at that point would also require threading a wire inside the tube. difficult but not impossible. Also possible to rivnut a plate in this position.
One for the melting pot.

They make bar lights that are curved that are meant to be attached on bars. Some strong double sided tape would hold it on easy enough without compromising the roll bar.

Have you got a name or number for these , would like to check these out as getting a cable through the bar won't be a problem

Looks good but wouldn't be allowed in the U.K. :-(

miket asked a good question to be clear it's the turn signal and flashing that wouldn't be allowed. If you used it just as a standard light you'd be fine imho.
