I brought a 3 point wrap round one from safety devices which was reasonably priced and is installed using the existing two seatbelt holes them wrapped round the harness bar...simple. cheers

I bought the 6 point Camlock Racequip harness and really like the quality and feel of the harness. I've tried the Latch/Link version too, but the Camlock just felt much more polished. I'm confident either would hold in a crash.

Thanks guys so the lap parts just bolt into the existing seat belt holes to fix the lap part as I don't fancy drilling new holes in the floor

Just purchased seatbelt anchor eye bolts and used the standard chassis mounting holes. Harness just clipped on to the eye bolts and wraps around the generic grip seat fine.

Hi dave how do you like the exocet. If you have any questions about the build please message me and I'll do my best to help. I may be wrong but fitting harnesses to that car will obviously need a harness bar, but i think that fitting one will mean the rear cover will need moving back a bit and it will be almost impossible to get the harness bar powder coated the same gold colour. I guess black could work just as well. The gold can be sourced from the company that sells the diy powder coating at home machine. They are usually at stoneleigh. I will be at stoneleigh on the sunday so maybe you'll be there with the car. Good luck.

I've always preferred any cam lock setup. Don't forget to have some protection for when you and your passenger flops the harness's out of the way.

I welded in a crush tube and used the stock miata belts.
