Hi all, thats the question, who else is building an Atomic. I am looking for others to put stuff up and bounce ideas off. If you have seen the so called build manual you'll know why I am asking. Am moving along with it but I am not finding it as enjoyable as the Sonic. Paul has said there is a much better manual on the way? ? but when? I ordered this kit a year ago and still no real info. So if you are reading this Paul,of RTR, come on get on with it. At least send me as many photos as you have of the demo car to give some ideas to rooting stuff about the car.

I would assume that a man of your talents having built a beautiful Sonic would be able to build an Atomic with your eyes closed! Don't forget I am here to help if you have any areas causing a problem to you. Any guides offered by MEV or RTR are intended as guides not manuals, for back up beyond these please email RTR with a specific question and it will be replied to within 48 hours. Regards Stiggy

Well thank you for that insight. Let me just say I was informed there was going to be a much better, guide if you want to call it that. No pictures of how the reverse is mounted or wired, rear end, panels do you want me to go on. I don't want to be phoning or e-mailing, there should be sufficient in the guide to complete. You say it should be easy since I have already built a Sonic, say I had just bought an Atomic as some others have done?I certainly don't think it is unreasonable to have a guide which shows pictures of the Atomic build at various stages. Tunnel, rear end diff and back brakes, cooling, body panels, drive shaft, etc. Most of these I have completed though the tunnel parts still don't go together. It looks like the one that covers the reverse mech. has been folded back to front, pictures would help.

Not sure you'll get much sense out of them this weekend John as its the Exeter Show.
Recommend you contact Paul at RTR, I'm sure he will take some photos of what ever you need.
Keep us updated.

Hi All, I am currently on the finishing touches of my Atomic, again i aggree that a guide is needed as 99% of my fitted items have been routed to my best knowledge. I am aware that mine is very different to the normal Atomic but will be more than willing to photo or help understand some of the components locations etc. All running gear, steering, suspension and chassis is the same, just engine and transmission are of a very different origine. Please feel free to ask me anything, i should be able to help in one form or another. Tom

Hi Tom was looking at your pics and the twin and exhaust looks great. The rooting of the cables wires etc are just getting put as you say, whats looks ok? If you are using the same tunnel to cover reverse a few pics might help me. Though I suspect with chain drive etc your reverse will be different. Any pics would be good as looking at different onces can sometime inspire. Good luck with the build. Regards John
