Most of us try to add spacers to the rear of the tank to mitigate this as much as possible . you can add a few inches before the tank hits the bodywork.
I can't speak to how much of a problem it will be, as I've not been on the track yet, but I'd suggest having above half a tank for peace of mind.

I am thinking about going with a fuel cell eventually but they are pretty expensive and likely won't fit in the budget right away. Has anyone thought of adding fuel cell foam to the stock tank? I asked on the Exocet facebook page and FM tried a baffle with limited success on their V8 Exocet.
