Well it had to happen one day - the Red and Shiny Rocket had enough of being couped up in the garage and decided to go out and play. The local Hot Rod and Custom Car Club had display day and the Rocket snuck in and mixed with the big boys. Here she is sheltering from the sun under a tree. You will note that between me and the Bel Air behind we average out to the length of a normal car Then some swine turned up with a car that showed what REAL SHINY looks like, although a patch of dust was spotted above the rear wheel arch, when this was pointed out his wife got the cloth out and polished it shiny again. After seeing this I tried to persuade my wife that we could fit a tow bar to her MG.

Had a thought after posting last night regarding differences between NZ and UK regs. Lots of comments have been passed during my build about the "hoops we have to jump through" down here. Well it might seem that way sometimes compared to the UK but could you ever legally get a vehicle such as the one above on the road in the UK? Clearly we can

I was under the impression that open wheels, hydraulic handbrakes and brake bias adjusters were all banned in the UK for road going cars - looks like this incorrect then.
