Probably one for Stiggy this.... I wondered whether MEV had ever considered a road legal buggy design. I'm actually wanting to build something with a skeletal frame & body, like the Exocet, but would ideally like a bit more ground clearance, (a) because I'm old & fat and will struggle to drop down into such a low driving position, and (b) I would mainly use it on holiday in Portugal - still on road, but some roads are a bit iffy. The only trade stand at Stafford with anything like was Blitzworld (IMO a bit clunky looking and quite expensive). The other choice is to buy a turnkey Chinese number, but I'm dubious of their quality. But what they lack in reliability, the Chinese make up with style! have a look at.... 132123.en.ec21.com/4x4_500cc_Buggy--1089528_3492191.htmlI'm sure there would be a market for something combining the satisfaction of self build with MEV's stunning design skills. And this would fill a gap in the market which used to be filled by dune buggies, inevitably built on Beetle's, which are now rare &/or exhorbitant.
