Hello, I (Damien) and 2 friends (Benoit and Olivier) are French, and we just ordered a rocket for use on racetrack. We are mounting a motor and parts from Renault Megane RS, easier to find than Ford parts in France. We already bought the engine, gearbox, gearbox control. It remains to await the delivery of the chassis. We already regularly turn on circuit with GT Turbo, Clio 16v and Megane RS. Stay tuned for more infos. You can find info on my GT turbo 2L turbo on this link: manu.okp.free.fr/PICS/GT%202LT/GT%202LT.htm

Welcome Damien
You will love the rocket on a track compared to a tin top (a car with a roof).

Mattsmev thank you, I already had a car without a roof: a old prototype Chanabé Porsche, and I tried Renault Spider, and Donkervoort. I look forward to starting this new project, my GT turbo is already reserved. Fortunately, I have several clients that I maintain cars to run on circuit, waiting to finish this new project. Excuse me for my English, but I'm a little better mechanics! lol

Until delivery of our Rocket, I already get some parts: engine, box, control box, and radiator cooling Megane RS. I also have my steering column, the hand brake Mini Cooper S, the hubs for the rear, 3 wheels OZ 16 "Superleggera to the front, and even the 4 wheels 17" rear. I miss the seats in order to make all the welds and paint when I receive my rocket.

Hello, Here's some news: Our rocket is finished, and should leave for France during next week. I continue to collect the various parts, to attack the assembly and adjustment when I got our new toy! As soon as I received and started the job, I'll post in the rocket section.

Thank you for your support! I look at your site, your choice of kit car is impressive. Normally my RAM rocket left England early next week if the snow does not block the trucks.
