Hi folks, Newbie here.... dreamed of building a kitcar a few years ago, but funds were a bit tight. Just dipping my toe in the water again (now that bank balance has expanded a bit) and spent a very pleasant sunday at the Stafford Kit Car show, where I FELL IN LOVE with the Exocet. The price seems fabulous as well.... and the design seems such a refreshing change from the Caterham 7 wanabees everywhere. Only snag is, my waistline has expanded over the years.... not sure I could squeeze into one. The very friendly lady on the MEV stand was insistent I would, but I just had visions of them having to take an angle grinder to their pride & joy to extricate me, so chickened out! Time to cut down on the bacon butties, and put money saved into a jar....

The exocet is surprisingly spacious inside there were a few larger chaps there on the saturday myself included that tried it for size without any problems

Welcome Bigmal
I'm glad you liked the exocet, i think it's perfect for new builders and also one of the easiest kits to afford, ticks a lot of the important boxes.
getting in and out. It gets a lot easier when you are used to it, i can't imagine you wont fit. take the plunge. buy the kit, join weight watchers and by the time it's finished you will be after some slim line seats. I lost 4 1/2 stone over the last few years, so you can order a exocet with confidence
Cheers
