That's what I used. Turned out pretty good, although I cannot tell about durability yet. Just be sure to do all of the steps. Degrease, metal prep, paint then top coat.

Goes on very easily, spreads well and smooths nicely. I put the leftovers in an old jar and its kept just fine to re-use when needed. Good luck.

Be sure to use in a properly ventilated area. I wore a painters respirator and by the end had a box fan blowing too. It is nasty stuff.
I also did the 3 step process. Worked well. I got a quart of it, turned out to be a lot more than I needed.

I used POR 15 too, seemed to go on well and coverage was good. It isn't UV stable so you need to topcoat as well. I went for the satin black topcoat that they do which looked pretty good. I used their 'prep and ready' before hand (as well as a lot of time de-rusting with an angle grinder and wire brush)
If you do use POR 15 I recommend only dispensing and using a little at a time(I think the destructions suggest that) once it starts to go off it thickens which can start to leave brush marks. Also buy lots of brushes and bin them when it starts to go off.
It seems very hard once dry so should be nice and durable as long as you follow their guidelines.

You guys think it is necessary to top coat the sub frames? They shouldn't see much sun, and are only slightly visible. My control arms are power coated.
