Looks like overall you guys had a GREAT road trip. Sorry the weather wasn't kinder to you and so very sorry that I didn't catch up with you. Anyone that was on the trip and would like a road trip car sticker,pm me with your address and I will post them to you for free. Had the insurance assessor today, was a nice lad and took pictures and details. I expressly told him I was wanting to keep the car. So will have to see what the insurance company comes up with, watch this space. Below a very sad video.
Reminded me of an incident outside my house when an idiot was doing skids and doughnuts and ended up spinning out and coming to rest with his wheel arch wedged on the only concrete post within 200m.
When they dragged him off it was ugly and equally so up the recovery wagon as the car was lowered. However he was in no position to argue as he was helping police at the time.........
“Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body. But rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming .... WOW what a ride.”
Looks can be deceiving The insurance company has written her off,Bugger!! Obviously planning to keep her and rebuild, will see what the cost of that is going to be. Must admit I cannot fault Adrianflux they have been great as well as the underwriter Trinity lane. Though the proof of that, will be on how long before I get paid?
Surely that's not enough to right it off?! It's horrible what's happened, but it's not major work as such I don't think. Hope the pay out covers the rebuild though mate. Good luck.
Me too, handbrake cable cooked. Happy days, the joys of........
