 Well was up bright and early, to heavy rain, but I was going so nice and careful was the order of the day.Got down to Fort William in good time and fuelled up. Weather had brightened up but roads still wet. 3 miles out heading south on the A82 round a gentle turn doing about 50 and the this.180 and heading North. Definitely not a good event.   Took out 12 new fence posts in the process,and barbed wire makes a hell of a mess of fibre glass. Insurance claim me thinks. The farmer who has the fields told me I am the fourth in the last week? In fact, they posts were all new,bugger. |

Just myself so taking it easy, the police even said that if I had been going fast I would have ended up a lot further into the field. Got recovered and am back home now, more damage than I thought. I'm ok apart from a cut thumb as the post and wire came through the fly screen. I am glad my wife wasn't with me could have been serious.

I have seen 2 normal cars ditched in hedges today which turned my thought to Dave In the mevster but he phoned me a while ago to say they where having a good time .
I hope you can get it fixed

Will post some more later. Would also like to thank Bob and all the others that came up on the Scotland Road Trip and made it a fantastic weekend. Also best wishes to John (rcnut) and hope he gets his Rocket back on the road soon.
