I don't know of any that have this brake package as standard. It is a 5k extra on top of a base supercar. Give or take a k or 2 :-):-) But I may be wrong :-)

Give or take a k or 2 :-):-) But I may be wrong :-) Maybe, i was walking past the Aston Martin dealership in town and noticed the Carbon-ceramic discs all round on every new DB9, DBS and V12 vantage on display, they certainly look the part, here are the front brakes on a DB9, only 109 grand... V12 Vantage: I have also seen them on Porsche and Ferrari's on the road too. Are you not getting confused with ceramic brake pads? now they would need a lot of heat to work.

Perhaps the required heat could be a good thing.

Those 15" rims must be really light, what are they? With wheel and went like this: I went to a store to see Wheels OZ Superleggera 7x15. Since I was there, I wanted the shopkeeper weigh them. The declared weight of OZ:5.9 kg. The actual weight of the Whells OZ was: 1x6,2 and 3x6,3kg I was not very happy with tolerance plus the price of the rims. This the shopkeeper noticed him, so I said he knows a seller of tires that has lightweight rims cheap. I immediately phoned and he told me that he rims weighing 4.6kg,and to have 12 wheels at the warehouse and that are rare to find. I have not really believed in its response. Anyway I told to send. I think the rims are Peugeot, seem of iron rims. When I arrived I weighed them and I saw that really weight 4.6kg. You what would you do? I bought 8 rims for the same price as two rims OZ,in addition to a good weight in comparison to OZ. Sure rims OZ are aesthetically more beautiful, but on the basis of these advantages of weight and money so I decided. Now be the powder-coated in candy red,Color as a toy.Why the Rocket and a toy for adults.

Thanks for that info, there is a big difference in the weight of the complete RTR upright assembly (bracket + focus stubaxle, bearing, hub) compared to the rd assembly, almost half the weight.
How did you have shave another 0.8 kg from the rd assembly?
Good info about the wheels, those oz alloys are about the same weight as my ford alloys then, definitely not worth the money then.
I might well go for steel wheels now I know how much weight they save, would probably look ok powder coated or painted. What is the offset of those steel wheels?, I assume it would be standard Peugeot offset.

I have all steel parts from RD upright in Titanium made. This is the maximum shave weight. Attention!!To aanyone going to buy rims like: They are not iron rims!!Rims look like iron, but in reality are made of aluminum.A rim identical to this in appearance but in iron weighs 7kg piece. Offset is 18

Looks to me, from the posts & pictures, that he made his own steering arms from titanium. Everything else looks the same as RTR would supply (certainly doesn't look any different to what I got in my kit).
He might have used titanium bolts too.
