HI guys, just to confirm there is pressure cap on the new exspantion bottle, but the nozzle faces the engine and is still coneected to a spill-reservoir but behind the drivers seat.
I havnt explained this the best, but i kept finding when driving in trafic etc the orginal system did not work how it should. Maybe others will work fine keeping the radiator with the presure cap on(im sure this summer when there are few more on the road it will be disscussed) but im happy with the new system.

Today did several tests. All looks good with the cooling system of my tR1ke. After each test the intake of cooling liquid from the expansion bottle gets less and less.
So for the moment, with my current static findings, I do not agree with the Anglais statement: the tR1ke needs an rear swirl pot....
We will see what future real life test will bring.

I decided to add a secondary R1 expansion bottle at the rear, I already fitted a second filler neck to the side of the Thermostat housing to assist on topping up the coolant, but decided I also wanted another expansion bottle there too, I think it will help,
