Okay, so after owning a TR1KE I found the reverse system to be a bit lacking. Certainly where any hill was concerned.
I quite fancy an Atomic. The right mix of crazy bike power coupled with the most selfish build vehicle possible, almost a bachelors car with it being a single seated :-)
So the engine mounts side ways on allowing what would be a sprocket to be used via a sprocket adaptor to propshaft. Has anyone fitted and inline Quiafe reverse box? I don't fancy another starter reverse, I also fancy fitting a grungy V-Twin which would allow a much nicer tune from an exhaust of which can be routed a number of different ways.
I'm not looking to do anything for the next couple of years, but would be interested in someone's part built, rolling chassis or cheap Atomic towards the end of next year maybe. Not bothered for an engine, seats or wheels indeed. I could collect the parts in a van,
I will keep an eye on the forum to see who has what for sale and how much. Don't care if its left or right hand drive. It might in the fullness if time become centrally seated.
Cheers
Nick.

How about using the front hubs of a car and use the driving shaft for a reverse linkage. Just seperate the reverse system from the engine and be happy I never digged those weld on compromises on the tR1ke. Btw, I really like the front design of the Atomic. This one could be a succesfull trike concept too. Even single person! And a wide windscfreen LOL!!

Quaife make a dedicated reverse box designed to work inline for a bike engine, I just want to see it installed on an Atomic, surely someone who has built one has fitted this kind of box?
