Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me the following please, I have tried emailing MEV but I think they are really busy and maybe have not seen my email.
I need an answer to the following on this trike...
Front wheel size, 15 or 17", Offset and PCD are they 4 or 5 stud?
If I match the diameter front wheels as per the 17" front wheel of the R1 do I need a speedo healer?
I notice on a pic I took of the front pedal area that 1 x water tube comes down the centre tunnel, is it me not seeing a return pipe, or does it fill up the radiator under the nose section?
Is the front radiator and fan included in the price of the kit? If not, what are the recommendations for the radiator, what make of car is it from?
If I buy a complete engine, loom, kit car kit from Yorkshire Engines, do I just need the following to put it on its wheels?
Swingarm, rear wheel complete, chain,
I am going to use a Hi Spec combination handbrake and 2 pot caliper for the rear brake and hand brake, does this sound okay?
I think that's it for now, if I think of anything else I will post it ;D

Hi Nick,
we are indeed busy but if you give us call either at the beginning or end of a business day we'll be able to answer your questions. I did think we covered most of this when you came to see us but wheels are Ford 4 stud and wheel size your choice. R1 do not use wheels for speed sensor so speedo healer is needed unless you use a standard bike back tyre which is not to be recommended. Water pipes go to and from rad which is stock r1. Buying from Yorkshire engines is very dear way of sourcing donor components. Buy a bike and strip it, that way you will have everything you need. and it will cost you next yo nothing once you have sold the leftovers on Fleebay. Otherwise count on spending 2K on an engine from Yorkshire and all the bits you need. Use the R1 rear brake. It's free with your donor bike, and fits. Hi-spec handbrake caliper is good. As I said if all else fails give us a call. Paul Holmes.

Cheers Paul,
My bike is on eBay for sale now, once its sold either by means of eBay or through my local dealer I intend to come and order a kit from you, I can't wait now, still have to do some deals here and there to get the rest of the money for the kit, but all being well I will be placing my order with you before Xmas. I think I will be ordering a green frame and black bodywork with things like wishbones and uprights etc in black. Still have to photo shop the trike and see what colour combo's I want.
Cheers I will be in touch
Nick
