Hi,
Yes it's true, read CKC news section this month, Unfortunately ECO- EXO TRIKES is For Sale,,,
After 4 years from obtaining the project, and building up the biusiness and the Eco-Exo products, the time has come to have to sell it on,
On offer is the complete business we have built, including the branding / Website etc, the road legal demonstrator Eco-Exo-R, and jigs and molds etc for complete production, the new owner will need to sign a manufacturer agreement with Mr Mills @ MEV and then your off ready to go,
It's sad times for us, but we don't have enough time available that we feel Eco-Exo Trikes needs, and will be working hard to ensure its new owner is committed to the project to continue the success,
The Eco-Exo Trikes business as explained above is For Sale for £6000
We do have a prototype of the new "RS" version which will be offered to any potential new owners,
Any interested parties please feel free to contact me,

It is with great sadness to see you selling the business. I wish you well and hope someone will continue the great work you did.
As you can tell I am Bonker's over mine and with the last details it will make all my dreams come true on this magnificent machine.
Would you be able to post a picture of the prototype RS version as I am sure all the Eco exo builders would love to see it?
Good luck on the sale and hope you find someone as dedicated and helpful as you have been.

Wow... it's official now. Too bad. Ditto what Ed said: without info no reason to invest in an RS. I recon it would be a rubbernecker br, Erik

Thanks for your kind words, I assure you the decision was not taken lightly,
It's been a good year, but with general life changes I don't feel we can give the project the time it deserves, as I say it won't end here and we will ensure it goes to a good home, to ensure the product continues,
The RS is still under wraps at the minute, for the new owner to consider taking on, but believe me it looks sweet,
Cheers Scott

Scott
There isn't much I can add to the posts from Edward and Erik. It is not great news you have given us, but as life changes so must other things around us. I am sorry to see you sell the business, but on the other hand I am hopeful you find someone that can dedicate the time and energy to the project.
I hope the RS model makes its way into production. Perhaps a leaked photo might serve as an advertisement for the potential of the Eco-Exo...
I wish you and your family and all those that brought the Eco-Exo into production the very best.
Best regards

Hi All,
I can announce that the Eco-Exo Trikes business has been sold and handed over today,
I wont give away the details of the new owner, I will wait for them to come on and introduce themselves,
But I'm very happy to say we have found a great buyer in the UK with years of experience in the kit car industry, having been involved in many projects and brands, and we are confident that they will give the project the time and development it needs, and they have the new RS model too which they are already looking to add their ideas to before its launched, so please give them a warm welcome and give them time to get to grips with the new project,
From here on who knows what the next project will be! (Hopefully another MEV build one day) - I will still be hovering around and keeping an eye on what's happening, and wish all the MEV owners and Eco Exo trike owners all the best for the future,
But in the meantime this is me signing off as the Eco-Exo Trikes manufacturer,

Going to be sorry to see you go Scott, well not completely I hope. I'm sure you will be leaving the project in safe hands and I look forward to working with the new manufacturer of the Exo-Eco Trike business in the future.

Hello everyone,
I best introduce myself here. I am the lucky new owner of the Eco-Exo Trike business.
I saw the Eco-Exo in it's very early days when Stuart was first designing it and liked it the moment I saw it at MEV HQ. I've known Stuart for several years and have always been impressed with his enthusiasm and prolific creativity. The Eco-Exo slipped past my grasp when I wasn't paying attention and he sold the project on to Scott four or five years ago resulting in me kicking my self many times for not having been in the right place at the right time. However having now seized the opportunity to take on this project I'm impressed with what Scott has done to date and hope that I can pick up where he and his team have signed off.
I've been involved in the Kit Car scene for many years now going back to what was it's heyday in the mid 80's when I built my first kit and have always had at least one kit car other than a brief period of time when I owned a Lotus (big mistake). About ten years ago I got more heavily involved in the niche vehicle scene when I and a colleague got involved in quadricycles and I negotiated the UK import of the ACREA Zest and Qdos Cars wound up also in my hands, long story cut short.
I am also involved in the Deronda after Andy Round asked me if I was interested in taking it on (stupid question that one was, though I wasn't able to get as involved in that project as I'd have liked to thanks to my other half at the time not wanting me to invest in a steak in the company) The Midas is also a kit in which I'm pretty heavily involved with working with my friend and partner in crime on a number of developments there too.
I also have a significant interest in Electric Vehicles where I have another parallel with Stuart and It's partly due to this where I had been developing my own trike that I figured it made a lot of sense to me to take on the Eco-Exo. Don't worry though I'm not an evangelical tree hugger, I have been known to race an EV before but I also love racing about the likes of Castle Combe and Silverstone with other petrol heads in excess of twice the national speed limit burning lots of petrol and rubber.
I've a lifelong love of fast cars and unusual vehicles and to my mind what makes a good bike/car/offroader or what ever kind of vehicle is that they should be fun! Hopefully I can carry on in this with the Eco-Exo and continue with the hard work that Stuart and then Scott and his team have put in to the trike. I couldn't resist a quick test drive of the demonstrator Eco-Exo yesterday at an airfield and this characteristic shone through brilliantly.
I'm really pleased to have taken on this project and would like to thank Scott for agreeing to sell it to me along with his enthusiasm and professionalism that also shines through in the project and it's development to date.

Welcome Kelvin. I have been following the ECO-EXO for a while and I too got caught snoozing. When I found out Scott was selling the whole business I was going to offer to buy it. You beat me to it. Yes I would have moved it to North America but would have worked out a plan for shipping a kit to Europe. I figured my total start up to be about $16,000. My wife says Thank You for buying it before I could. I am one of the few that think a Burgman 400 is a good engine/CVT combanation. But I also want more power and to me a Burgman 650 with the ECVT would be better. So if you think about offering a ECO-EXO 650 RS, count me in for a kit. I ride a 2008 Burgman 650, my 3rd and have 62,000 miles on THIS one. My avatar picture is a Hot Rodded Suzuki GS750N that I rode all over Europe for about 70,000 miles in 4 years. I like power, sometimes too much. Anything you want or need to know about Burgmans, go to www.BurgmanUSA.com as it is one of the best forums out there with about 15,000 members world wide. Most members are from USA, Canada and the UK. I post on there as DaveJ. Again, Welcome to the forum. Dave

Wow, that was a quick sale. I am sure you and Scott will have a seamless transfer of ownership. Welcome to the forum as well as to the wonderful world of the Eco-Exo reverse trike. It is good the transfer of ownership remained in the UK. Your experience building/owning kit cars is a huge plus. If I can be of assistance please let me know.
(So let us all have a sneak peek at the RS)

Thank you all for the warm welcome, having missed the Eco-Exo once before I wasn't going to let it slip again, as we say in my family "Snooze you lose"
Having owned kits for years and been to countless shows I know that the camaraderie surrounding the various marques is a significant factor in the enjoyment of these kinds of vehicles. I've also always been keen to see how people put their own signatures on their builds. MEV owners tend to excel at each of these and in my books have significantly contributed to what has to be one of the most successful range of kits since the days of Dutton and Jago.
I'm open to everyone's ideas and of course have my own too. Scott has worked hard on the Eco-Exo and has indeed come up with a new variation on the trike which I will also work on and tweak but you'll all have to wait a while as it should be right before it's let lose in the wild, my priority right now though is getting things set up and in good order for my producing the Eco-Exo and Eco-Exo R first.
As I've said already I aim to continue much along the same lines as Stuart and Scott have done and I would also like to expand on the excellent base that exists with the Eco-Exo. i'm looking forward to hearing more from you all and meeting both new people and those I've met along the way in the past again too.
