Okay, maybe not new, but new to the MEV Experience, I have previously built an MNR that all went wrong in the final stages on the rolling road. I went for a test ride in the TR1KE today, fabulous, just need to sell my bike and get one on order :-)

Welcome venom
i am sure you will find this forum a great place of encouragement and help in your MEV build. there also a good group of people meeting at the various car shows over the year, thats the place to meet the faces in the flesh.
What happened to your NMR on the rolling road? i have never put a car on one, but i hate to think what can go wrong.
Cheers

Cheers Mattsmev Hi Matt, My car went onto the rolling road with less than 600 miles on its engine, ZZR1400, the car was being tuned to its Brand New power commander and had previously been run to 7000 RPM, once he took it to 9000 it seized, he heard something was not right but by the time he managed to get the engine slowing down it was game over. 165MPH on the clock the car locked up ripping up tyres, damaging bodywork and ultimatly writing off my engine. By this stage I had already piled over £2K into it to get the bloody thing to IVA pass standard only to be told it was going to need a further look at. My heart was no longer in it, it had taken me 6 months to build and literally 18 secs or so to destroy. I will never put any vehicle on a rolling road again. Although I was told it needed doing, I would have to think very hard about it and maybe take legal advice if this happened again. The whole experience was one of misery from my friend being murdered to the car ending its days on that rolling road. Anyway, onwards and sideways, I am currently selling my custom made Teardrop to fund my TR1KE addiction. Hoping to get it on order before the end of the year. Cheers Nick
