Yeah, chop chop, LOL.
I've had the kit since Dec. 17 after all the shipping B.S.

The rear brake lines from the braided kit were a bit long. I'm sure there is a reason, but here is how I routed them: Lol already in the garage working on it. Currently running lines. Got a question for you. On the stainless brake line kit. For the rear calipers with the T. Have you had any issues with clearance or rubbing? I'm trying to route my lines now and it seems the way you did it is probably best.

With the spacers and washers I am using, there is no rubbing. I routed a wire bundle in a plastic sheath through the same area without it being pinched.

Made a stop for the clutch pedal to keep it from hitting the aluminum panel.

The hazard switch fits perfectly in one of the wiring tray holes. Took a bit of finagling to mount it just right.

Trimmed the mounting bracket for the instrument cluster, and relocated the mounting holes 3/4" lower. Also required trimming the lower edge of the plastic shroud to sit lower on the steering column.

The Dominator 2.0 must be mounted WITHOUT the housing grounded. I kept blowing fuses until discovering the short was through the aluminum bracket it was originally mounted on. It is now sitting on 1/4" plastic. Ebay motorcycle turn signals with 3/4" LEDs mounted on the side as running lights. Required trimming the length of the threaded portion of the LED.

Machined a 42mm (a bit small for bare hands, but perfect with gloves) round shift knob from nylon. Metal in the sun wouldn't have been good...

The rear suspension has about 1/2" droop travel on the OEM suspension, with how little the Exocet weighs. Putting the car down off a jack saw ridiculously little suspension compression. Taking turns with mild bumps felt like the rear was skipping along the surface. Roman from Blackbox knows what I mean: After verifying the poly bushings weren't binding, I modified the strut tops to allow more droop travel (less compression travel). 1" spacers Eliminated the top rubber snubber, and flipped its retainer: The difference in length:
Ride height is unaffected, as the spring is mounted the same. The suspension compresses about a inch now when lowering the car from a jack. Initial impression (10 minute drive) is that the rear feels more planted. If I find any unwanted side effects later, I will report back. Input?

Good news is that they looks very nice. Bad news is that they will never clear the hood/nose cone...

I hope a bracket coming up at about 40* from the lower edge of the tube will allow me to mount the plastic bar high enough to clear the fender. We'll see...

Put a 14" convex mirror in. Tried to keep it out of the wind to diminish buffeting (and minimize drag). Held on with hose clamps: Do convex mirrors usually have so much wavy distortion?

Plastic ones suck. They usually have that wavy texture to them. Real glass ones do not.
