Our sales and marketing coordinator is out sick today, but if she was here in the office this morning I'm quite sure she would see the steam coming out of my ears right now.

Seeing all this damage from UPS on yours and Jeff's cars makes me VERY glad I opted for a naked build from Exomotive. Hope it gets worked out soon.

that is terrible and very upsetting, these our toy's we see damaged. I wonder if it would help if the polythene were to be clear, that way the fork truck driver may see a bright shinny chassis and have more respect for it. Hope it work out for you. Clearly you will be better off after they see it is their fault.

I am glad that I am close enough (5 hours) to be able to pick up my chassis in person. It always amazes me how careless freight companies can be. I don't think I have ever received a pallet with the "no stack" cone not smashed or the tip and tell not triggered.

Wonder what kind of weight that bed liner kit will add? Certainly will be durable. Interested in your results.

Hopefully not more than a few pounds. Not sure if it's worth coating the under side of the floors or the chassis jacking points?

Keystone has a bed liner kit that can be tinted. Kit comes with a spray gun too. About $125. Get a bud at a body shop to tint it for you and mix the bottles to even out the color before you shoot. I did the inside of my trailer and it came out mint. Race chassis I ordered has PC floors but I still want to protect them. As for weight, less than 5 pounds.

U-haul has a master location less than 5 miles from Exomotive. Well worth the drive to pick up the frame.

I was going to have mine shipped but I think I have decided to pick mine up, I am about 9.5 hrs away so it should be a fun road trip at least.

The UPS semi driver was really nervous about fitting the chassis on the lift gate. He suggested it would be safer to pick it up from my local hub and put it on a flatbed truck. Any tips?

I drove trucks with lift gates before, I can see what the driver is nervous about. Most truck gates are only 6.5 ft and the chassis on pallet is much longer. It would be hard to balance the pallet on the gate and lower it without one end possibly striking the truck on the way down. The chassis is very light when off the pallet, 2 guys can pick it up easy. I would venture to say if you have 4-6 guys you could lift the chassis with the pallet. Otherwise if the hub is close to you. rent a 6 x 12 uhaul open or enclosed trailer for the day. Get your frame home and get started building! Good luck
