And if all goes to plan this week, there should be an extra special Exocet on the grid.... Just need to crack the whip some more

.....Just need to crack the whip some more If you're cracking the whip, who's doing the work? Have you got Sylvie chained to a workbench?
I look forward to being lapped by one of our own. I suppose we'll have to change the name a little.

Someone must've blabbed! Remember the Chaparral 2J from 1967? It used a snowmobile engine to power fans for 'ground effect'.We've added two 12volt leaf blowers - one to mutiply inlet airflow by a factor of 8 to 10, the other to provide a partial vacuum within a rubberised skirt beneath the floorpan, giving a downforce equivalent to 72Kg. It is intended to convert from 98 octane petrol to 110 octane wood alcohol, but that's still a work in progress.

We had fun in the wet - faster cars spinning off all over the shop! No video from me but there are two from Micky Scott.
It's possible the links may not work for you - if they don't let me know and I'll try to sort it. Reworked link - Micky Scott's vid. click on either of the top two for Dony

Man it was slippy in the morning! Close to 200bhp ATW in a MEV means gently gently when exiting corners! I managed to light up the tyres in 4th and crunch into the wall Why is it whenever I go to Donington I need a new nose! Most frustrating part was we replaced the Cam sensor with a 1.6 version and couldn't get the timing set correctly. The Megasquirt was set for 14 degrees and we reset the ECU to 10 so no wonder it wasn't as quick in the dry as it was in the wet earlier on! It does sound good on the videos though

Quick snip of race 1 - conditions were monsoon-like! MX150R in front was standard power, mine I think was down on power after replacing the CAS with a 1.6 version and not being able to set the timing up properly.
