I will say that the Rocket was a LOT of fun to drive on track, probably the most fun track day I've ever had. The Rocket accelerated great and turned hard, but like most everything, it could be improved. I may make a post on the technical boards about these but my observations are - Add some negative camber in the rear if you will be heading out on track. I'm at almost 2degrees on the front and about 1 degree on the rear - The rear needed more. The right rear was overheating on the outside badly, causing excessive oversteer into the many left handers. I feel that this could have been reduced by additional camber increasing the contact patch of the rear tyre on cornering. Has anyone considered fabricating anti roll bars? I feel that the Rocket could have benefited greatly from this - See above regarding rear tyre contact patch. Anyone who says that you will be OK with the solid discs on the front, aren't trying hard enough. I started suffering brake fade on my second session, and spent a lot of the day lifting and coasting to minimise the braking needed and try to keep them cool. I have the HiSpec callipers all round, grooved discs and Mintex 1144 pads. I admit a pad upgrade could be in order but I still feel that it would only be a question of time before fade set in. I've not sat in any of the RTR seats but I would recomend high sided seats. The Tillet B6 probably added as much to my enjoyment as anything else due to the high side support stopping me from moving around in the seat a lot. I could concentrate on driving rather that bracing my body for the next corner, Again, not much to complain about, but I do see a brake disc upgrade in my future Thanks, Richard.
