Great Pictures It's really nice to see some of these cars taking shape. When do you hope to have the engine running ? or have you got it running already I found that it was all down hill from that point. nigel

Like the colours. Bet you feel a lot better now than way back when you started putting the engine in! How did you get boot cover to fit? Any mods?
Any chance of posting some pics of the clearence around the top of the engine bay? I don't want to take all the wishbones off again to trial fit body work again if I can help it. Just interested in what space is available along top chassis rails to run wires.
How's it sound with the exhaust setup? Any idea of db's?
Be interesting to see what you think after having it on a tram. Good luck

Looking good. Just one question, what are the pegs sticking out of the top of the engine cover? Look too big for boot catches. Spoiler??
Also noticed Accord Type R in the pic. Nice :-)

thanks for the feedback guys.its finally coming together.as you know its for track use only so no lights except for brake light which comes from the daewoo matiz parcel shelf.
the boot cover took alot of modding.the main problem was i located the focus fuse box in rear left just in front of gearbox linkage.i had to remove the fuse box cover and chop the box slightly to get engine cover sit down.also the engine mount had to be attacked with an angle grinder but could have moved engine slightly to left 5-10mm which would have worked.my engine sits higher so that gave me problems with the st170 solenoid which sticks out.
yes its the accord type r.some thieving scumbag stole my rear type r badges the other night.GRrrrrrrr!!!!
i will take some photos of engine bay tomorrow and post.
exhaust is quiet.will see how it goes.probably shorten.will do for now cost nothing to make.
was hoping to eat some evos on track.we will see.
pegs on engine cover fold flat and hook into rear panel.
personally the car would look good with a spoiler of some sort.
not looking forward to fitting the mudguards especially the back ones.

Am no expert but from the look of the bore of the inner pipe at the exit of exhaust, it will probably restrict power but dont mind because will be spenty quick to start with and improvements is all part of the fun ah peeps.
Have to agree, is looking super sexy.
Has anyone got ideas of how to tidy up clock surround and steering wheel colum without ?
