I Only saw one hood/ nose that was black, it didn't look to be part of a kit though. They might have it packed already, just waiting on fenders.

Looking good! I didn't know there was a new transmission tunnel design. So seats fit now but, not headers. Great.

Yep, I was unaware as well until Kevin showed me last week.
Next step is to get the tranny cover and AL interior panels power coated satin black.
I am going to try and modify my NB radiator to make it work, if not I will have to make new brackets or get an NA model.

Yes. Mine is the "very grey" one. I will have to ask what is going on tomorrow.

d**n it... Now I wonder how the FM turbo exhaust will fit.
thank you for the detailed pics! Are there mounting brackets for the parking brake too?

I'm super excited about the new tunnel. Any exhaust shop should be able to make your header/down pipe work. My brother owns an exhaust shop so I guess that's a big bonus for me. I will be having my chassis coated from exomotive now that we have gained 2.2 inches for the driver and 1.8 inches for the passenger.

Oooooo .... your pics just ratcheted up my 'anticipation meter' about 1000% !!! I have a ways to do (with chassis #110), but you motivated me ALOT to pound out the remaining prep work prior to chassis pickup!
Question though ... do you see ANY need for chassis fabrication / add ons with the current design? I'm still not clear on a couple of small items, such as possibly welding on the front brake hard line to flex line "brackets" that I salvaged from my donor car. I have seen others with earlier # chassis weld those on to the chassis. What alternatives are there otherwise to make the hard line to flex line transition? (Intent on my side is to use my NA donor car's brakes at this point to control project cost if that matters.) Reason I'm interested is related to powder coating the chassis. At this point, I'm planning on having to do a bit of fab - therefore getting the chassis un-coated. However, if I don't have to add any tabs, etc. that would likely change my mind.

There are no brackets for the parking brake, from my understanding I will just drill holes in the tunnel at the correct location and bolt the handle in. There is a bracket for the lines though and holes thru the tunnel for them.
As far as the brackets for the brake lines go, check out Kevin's pics of his XP-1 build on Flickr, he made his out of AL and riveted them to the front subframe.

Quick question, what is this bracket for? (In the upper right corner) I'm not sure what bolts to this.

What holds the gauge cluster in place on top of the steering column?
