I had to replace one of mine during initial build. I did the re-assy in two stages, after putting both the new wheel bearing and the hub in the freezer overnight. Stage one was pull bearing from the freezer and drop it into the room temperature carrier (went right in with minor pressure on the outer race only), and install the retainer ring (you did get a new one, right?). Stage two (after bearing warmed up) was light press of the frozen hub into the now room temp bearing with backing behind the inner race. Worked like a champ! One other note - while I was at it, I went ahead and put a new seal on the back side of the bearing / hub assy.

Did you have any issues with getting those taillights/turn signals to work properly?

I had to get a Tow Ready 118158 taillight converter to get them to work.

Thanks for that info! I've wasted too much time trying to make them work right.

I had to get a Tow Ready 118158 taillight converter to get them to work. Curious how that worked - the Miata has separate brake and turn signal wires, so I think I need to convert from three wires to two wires (not including ground) for the lights we have. The description of the 118158 says "2 to 3 Taillight Converter for Connecting Tow Vehicles w/2 Wire Systems to Towed Vehicles w/3 Wire Systems" which is the opposite of what I think I need.

Kurt (trailer hitch guys) makes a 3 wire in to 2 wire out converter, number 58240. Either this, or the Tow Ready 118518 works 'either direction' (2 in to 3 our or vice versa) ??

It will work both ways I believe, it is working just fine now on my car. I used it with a temporary set of lights as well where the turn and running lights were combined.

I see that this filler cap is non-vented. How did you run the vent, and did you run it through a charcoal canister? Got my fuel fill today, finished running the fuel hose and wiring the licence plate lights into the tail lights as well. I made a backing plate with the same hole spacing to go under the trunk and act as a washer. Last thing on the list is to mount the fenders!

Looks like I don't have enough posts to be able to PM you, but do you still have the Quik-Latches available? I have locking Aero catches for the back of the hood, but I want to install the Quik-Latches near the nose. Thanks. Got 2 extra quik latches if anyone wants em, $40 shipped.

I haven't done it yet, I plan to do it this week. I have the trunk off since I am ceramic coating the muffler now, I plan to tie the vent into the line off the rollover valve, right before the charcoal canister though. Pumping gas takes forever without the vent lol.
