Looking good mate, where did you get them from ? I've seen the goggle sport headlights before but not with that housing.

As I am am stuck for parts in the areas I want to concentrate on 1st, I have decided to start to think about the electrics and parts: Rear lights fitted - all LED with the end units being brake as well as indicator:

I like the use of DRL's as side lights but where I wanted to mount them, the bracket supplied looked awkward. I also did not want to drill into the suspension arm so they will be bonded (after IVA). Will need to move them for the IVA also as they are too low and to close to the center: Bracket supplied: Modeling up a new bracket: I then used the model bracket as a master and had two made using a process similar to injection molding. Found some nice indicators, but again needed to make a bracket to get them to fit were I wanted them. Got some aluminum water jet cut and then polished the brackets. Drilled a hole all the way through the center of the bracket to hide the wires: Another front shot - lights done:

Hi,
The Rockets looking great - it looks like there's a fair few ££'s spent!!
Just one comment RE: the steering Boss... I fell foul of mine not being collapsible at the IVA. The inspector insisted on two protective steering elements (angled steering column and a collapsible steering boss)... Worth double checking the IVA 'manuel'!
Still, a great looking car!
Cheers, Ol

Cheers, Ol Thanks Ol for the heads up. I ordered this last week from Demon Tweeks and insisted that it needed to be the three prong collapsible version for IVA purposes and he said no problem - but this is what arrived. I prepfere the look of it (personal opinion) so I will keep it and will have to borrow one for the IVA

Well, after 8 months of waiting for the rear wheels - they finally arrived. This is the 1st stage position I have been dying to get too - car on the floor: Some nice 225 section rear Toyo 888 tyres: Car sits a little high at the moment but when all the weight is fitted and shocks are adjusted, it sit about another 2" lower

Was a little concerned about the 15" rear wheels that everything would fit inside. Ended up using a '0' offset and as you can see, calipers, handbrake mechanism, cycle wing stays etc all fit in nicely. Their is also about 10mm of room between the inner wheel edge and the wishbones in all travel up and down: Rear cycle wings and seats will hopefully be with me next week, and possibly the carbon fibre steering cover. Engine is also being assembled next week , so should be making some solid progress ;D
