Not sure ...The Exocets have a chassis number stamped in on the car already. This has to be in the right side of the car when looking from the rear to the front. The cars also needs this manufacture plate for IVA. If you don't have a chassis number already stamped in then you can do your own. Just be careful as there are certain letters etc that you can't use.. O is once such letter, so on the exocet chassis the O in exocet is changed to a 0 (zero).
Section 18 of the IVA manual list everything.

Do you not have a stamped VIN on the chassis? The vin number is all that is needed on the build plate (minimum 3mm high characters) plus the manufacturer's name
Sorry if I am stating the obvious.

No I've got nothing no plate and no chassis number think I'm going to have it seam welded on as fitting a bike engine aswell so alterations need to be made to the engine bay. So the riveted plate would be a nice addition.

tobydog37 Thanks for flagging this up way back in '14. They're still around on ebay and I just placed an order, so I thought it worth bumping this old thread in case it helps others.

So the riveted plate would be a nice addition. I stamped my chassis number on the top of the drivers side front top shock mounting plate. No need to weld. My original number was lost in the powder coating process.
