I have seen lots of posts on the forum about the required manufacturer build plate.
I ordered a trophy plaque off ebay fully engraved for under £3. To be honest I wasn't expecting it to be too good but worth a punt for the price.
The plate arrived and is excellent. Neat and just the job. Just needs to be riveted to the car.
can't upload a picture from my tablet but I highly recommend it
ebay item 290815227847 seller precious-moments-engraving. I got the large plate with MEV LTD in 10mm characters and the vin in 4mm high characters on a separate line
if anyone wants a picture, message me

I hope you have 4 numbers after 2014 as the E is missing from EXOCET… you should have 17 letters and numbers for the chassis number.

Yes, I spotted that when I got the kit home - only 16 characters on the vin. A typo at MEV. I had to add an extra 1 at the end.

Nice plate ….would hate for you to have missed it and failed at time of IVA on that small point. Think I might be getting one of these done for mine .. it is 100mm x 75mm ?

Trident - yes, 100x50. As you can see it is a pretty good fit with my choice of character size
Jgilbert - I agree, should come with the kit as it is the manufacturer's plate but given the typo on my stamped vin i would probably have had to get another one done anyway
