Hi my trike could do with some new tyres. It is three year old and was factory built. The tyres that are on it now look to be budget tyres and although loads of tread they are cracked and pretty hard. Just wanted some advice from owners on here to see what you all have had success with and what to avoid. My current tyre sizes are- Rear 205 40 17
Front 195 50 16
Thanks Keith

Tyre choice really depends on what you want to spend, I use trackday tyres but I have a spare rear wheel with a cheaper tyre for longer trips.

I'm running Nankang NS2 budget tires on the front and a budget on the back.
Like Kevin says. Its all down to budget really and intended use. Mine have plenty of tread still with 4000 miles covered so far. Rear tire still fine with about 6mm left. All tires cost me £55 each.

My tR1ke also has cheap tyres.
Because of tR1ke low mass, tyres hardly wear. Also after several good abuses the rear tyre is still fine.
