A number of owners like my self have invested in Driver/Passenger/Other Vehicle communication equipment. I like Mattsmev, Dinosaurjuice and Jetpower have all chosen the Starcom1 system, very good unit but pricey. 
For those MEV owners looking to join in on the convoy fun, or just wishing to be able to have a conversation while wearing helmets with either there passenger or other MEV equipped owners on a long journey. I noticed that ‘LiDL’ from Monday 21st June are selling a Twintalk 6800 (PMR446mhz) system for £14.99 !!!!!!!!
including 2 earphones, microphone, push-to-talk button, mains adaptor, 12v in-car charger, batteries etc (with a 3 year warranty.)
I have no idea how good the system is or if its capable of Phone, Satnav or MP3 player connection, or even if you’d need to buy 2 sets for driver passenger communication, but at such a cheep price I think you’d need to be MAD not to get down to LiDL on Monday and at least take a look.
It also worth noting that they are selling Flip-face Helmets, Balaclava’s and Rain Suit’s for silly money.
